About Me

I remember the first story I ever tried to write. A friend of mine in sixth grade wanted us to write a historical fiction novel set in the Civil War. I can't speak to his writing, but I can guarantee that my contributions were atrocious. Yet, a seed was planted. 

Growing up I fell in love with the worlds of Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Red Wall and more. I loved the cozy feelings that the writings of E.B. White gave me and knew that I too wanted to create worlds and fantastic characters.

Over the past ten years I have written off and on. There are countless stories started and abandoned in my google drive folder. I knew that I needed accountability in my writing, something to fight back against ADHD and press me forward. In walked Kindle Vella. It was an opportunity to get my stories out in the world an episode at a time, and build a community in the process. It felt like letting people peak behind the curtain into my process. 

I hope you will join my on my writing journey. Each Kindle Vella story has plotted, written, critiqued, rewritten, edited, and written again. It feels raw and vulnerable putting my stories out for the world to see. As I finish, it's so excited knowing that you are the final peace of the journey. No story is complete until you as the reader give it life.
